We're Famous--Almost

We were lucky enough to be featured last week in the N&O and Kitty Kinnin, from 100.7 The River, was also on the same page with a feature. She happened to mention us on air and we were thrilled! She is a big foodie so we were anxious to make her an awesome design and some coordinating cupcakes.


We got the opportunity to go down to Clearchannel Radio today and take her this VERY cool design. Usually, Amy and I discuss and brainstorm ideas for custom cakes to try to get the best ideas. So Amy says, "What do you think about a retro radio?" And I said, "Oh yeah and it has to be teal." And she said, "I was thinking the same thing!" So we knew it was meant to be!


We were very awestruck when we entered the building. It is very unassuming and when Kitty came out to get us we were gitty! We went back with her into her studio and were just expecting to drop off the cupcakes and radio cakelet and head out. BUT she told us to hang on and she put us on air!!! It was crazy :) Amy sounded great and very professional. It was so fun for us and we hope that she eats her retro radio!
