I think cakelets are awesome because they are just enough for 1-2, and I LOVE small things in the cake world! They are just so fun and unique.

ReplyDeleteCakelets are awesome because they are the new cupcake! And with cakelets, you can slice the cake into layers, and put cream in between them. With cupcakes, they are really just decorated on the top, or filling is injected.

It's great for someone who might be dieting but wants to celebrate a special event and doesn't want to be tempted by more cake than they need. And did I mention how stinkin' cute they are? Also, they allow for someone to spend a little less than they might on a full-sized cake, and surprise someone special with the stinkin' cutest thing ever seen in the whole world! I just want the chance to make one and put a smile on someones face with my own stinkin' cute little cake.

ReplyDeleteusually small things are cute, like cupcake is cute. but cakelets are AWESOME!! in fact it kick ass!! but what really really make it special is that in a normal afternoon when you decide to make a cake for your family for a snack, you can turn out that supposedly 1 layer cake into something smaller yet unique cakelet!!and hear my 4yr. old daughter saying, or i'd rather say "declare", "It's for ME!!" (ok, so just because it's a cakelet, it means it's for children?!? not fair! hahaha).. sometimes, you just don't need a big cake, a cakelet is way enough.

Cakelet is the perfect marriage between art and food. They are little pieces of art, served on a plate and the best part is that you can eat it too. For any occasion or just for your guilty pleasure, you can't go wrong with a cakelet. And Amy is simply the best cake artist to create these little gems.

ReplyDeleteEven as a kid I loved little things. We had Christmas ornaments that came in individual boxes and I loved opening each one. Cakelets gve me the same feeling. I am always excited when the smallest things are the prettiest or most interesting.

Giveaway #2 - My favorite cakelet is the flower pot. Who doesn't smile when they get flowers or chocolate. The flower pot is the perfect marriage of them both! (I made my first one over the weekend and loved it sooo much, I made two other ones.)

ReplyDeleteGiveaway 2: I love the flower pot because it can be used for any occasion. There's so much potential when it comes to dressing up a flower pot. For example you could even transform it into a bucket of beer on ice. No matter how you decorate one you can't go wrong.
